Roll For Therapy offers several options for how you can join

A Magical Experience for Kids and Teens

Join the Adventure

Our Role Playing Game therapy groups are a magical place for young people in Williamsburg, VA, and beyond. Middle schoolers, in particular, can find new friends and create memorable experiences during these challenging times. With traditional social milestones on hold, such as school dances and plays, Role Playing Games, like D&D, provide an opportunity for kids to find "their people" and build meaningful connections.

Our Role Playing Game therapy sessions offer a safe and supportive environment for neurodivergent and ADHD youth to explore, learn, and grow. Whether through group, individual, or family therapy, these sessions provide a unique opportunity to develop skills, build connections, and embark on exciting adventures. Join us and experience the magic of roleplaying therapy!

Junior High Adventurers: All genders (ages 11-14)

This inclusive group welcomes middle schoolers of all genders to embark on an adventure, make friends, and practice social skills in an LGBTQ+-affirming space. Players engage with a diverse cast of characters, creating an environment where all are welcome.

Girl Power Adventurers: Girl-only (ages 9-12)

We’re excited to offer girls-only groups for those interested in building positive friendships within a supportive environment. This group is perfect for girls who love geek culture and want to connect with others who share their interests. Roll for Therapy provides an opportunity for girls to cheer each other on and work as a team, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment.

Advanced Adventurers: All genders (ages 15 and above)

For those who have completed our introductory groups and want to continue their journey, we offer ongoing sessions for experienced players. These sessions allow for deeper character-building and storytelling, giving players the chance to reconnect with friends or try out new characters.

  • Individual Session

Interested in the gaming aspect of therapy but not ready to join a group? Schedule an individual session, and we will help you!

  • Family Adventures

Families who play together, stay together!

It is not always easy to bond with your tribe, but here is a secret weapon: adventure! Not only will you create unforgettable memories, but you will also sharpen your communication skills and have fun doing it. Families play by themselves, but many continue to play in the other groups as well.

  • Parent check-IN

Your adventurer will boast of their ability to slay the dragon, or outsmart the final boss, but may not always articulate the skills being taught. Parents are welcome to schedule a check-in to discuss goals, progress, or other concerns as they arise.

CURRENTLY, ROLL FOR THERAPY DOES NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE.
